Pinterest Project

I've done several ideas that I have seen on Pinterest, but none of them have been too difficult. I saw this one idea where you cover a canvass in fabric as an update to wall decor. I thought, " I can do that." We have three large wedding pictures in our family room and we need to take them down for open houses and showings. People want to envision themselves in the space and don't want to see a lot of personal items.

I went to Hobby Lobby and bought two 11x14 canvasses and a small hot glue gun. The hardest part was choosing fabric, because there is a ton of options. At home, I ironed out the wrinkles and hot glued the fabric to the back of the canvass- super easy and instant wall art. The whole project, including glue gun....$15!

Irritated

I truly do not want to wish bad things on people because we never know what's going on in their life to cause them to come across as inconsiderate in our life, but.... I would like to wish diarrhea on the lady who requested to see our place Saturday and then did not show up. She did not call, email, or text that she was unable to make it and I find that disrespectful and rude.

In case you have never showed a home before, it's not just "oh come on in" its cleaning your house so that you could preform a surgery in any given room. It's hiding the clutter and toys so the house looks neat and inviting. Its taking the dog and child out of the home for the time of the showing. It's a lot of work to just have someone not show up or call at all. 

It was an especially beautiful weekend in Cleveland and we spent the whole day cleaning, we could have been outside enjoying the beautiful day. On top of all of this, I am sick as a dog and pregnant. I am aware that this type of thing happens all the time and is something we will just have to prepare for again, but it does not change the fact that it really gets my blood flowing. 

So...I really hope that nothing horrific happened in this woman's life, but otherwise, I cannot imagine why it would be so difficult to text or email that she would be unable to attend- a little human decency would have been nice.

Life Lately....

Life has been a little chaotic this past week. Adam has been out of town for work and I've been manning the fort( so to speak) I can't figure out why things seem a bit harder when he's gone, because I do most of everything anyway, but there is a difference. He usually takes the dog out in the morning and that is something I hate doing( especially pregnant) it just adds one more thing to my list of things to complete in the a.m.

This pregnancy has me more emotional and impatient, so that could have something to do with it.

It's even more tough working because it gives me less time in the actual home. To accomplish anything.

Since I am working this whole week, I felt guilty that he would be at his sitters so after work we went to an open play time at this Little Gym for kids. He had so much fun!
